Hi Little Penguins!
March has been full of fun so far! Isn't it weird that we've had so many "lamb" days, and so few "lion" days? I wonder if the saying will be true.....since March came in like a lamb, will it go out like a lion? We'll have to wait and see!
Have you enjoyed learning about penguins? I've been a Portal Penguin for six years, and I didn't know ANYTHING about real-life penguins. Now I know all about six of the different kinds of penguins. I can't wait to learn about Galapagos tomorrow!

Penguins are really nice animals. My favorite penguins are the Little Blue penguins because they are small and cute. Their feathers are blue and blue is my favorite color.

I like the Galapagos Penguin the best, of course! I am looking forward to learning about them tomorrow. I want to know what makes them so special. Go Galapagos!
My favorite penguin is Rockhopper because they jump on rocks and I like to jump on rocks too!

My favorite penguin is the Southern Rockhopper Penguin.
They are very cute because they like to jump from rock to rock. It is very funny.
They have small body, bright yellow eyebrows, and little orange beak.
They eat fish, squid, octopus, and other things in the sea.
Clearly, I really like Rockhopper Penguin.

My favorite penguin is Emperor penguin. They are beautiful and they huddle together to protect them from severe cold. They weigh about 60-100 pounds. They are the largest and tallest of all living penguins. Clearly, they are unique penguins.

I agree with Mrs. Dorn that the Galapagos penguins are the BEST! I think it is cool that they live on their own warm island. Someday I hope to go to Ecuador to see them in person! :)

Penguins are really lovely and cute. My favorite penguin is Emperor penguin because they are 45 inches tall, as tall as me. Also, I like "Happy Feet" very much.
I like the little blue because they are small and cute. I wish I could play with them.

I like the Emperor because it's big, 45 inches, but I'm bigger than it. I am 48 inches! It has two big wings that are black. On it's neck it has yellow and orange in a circle. It has black feet and it swims 20 miles per hour! So fast. That is faster than a minute or something.
